Coaching vs Therapy

Are coaching and therapy the same thing

 

The short answer is no.  Whilst there are some similarities essentially they are different. Both look to improve people’s well-being, but there are differences. Therapists require certain accreditations and registration prerequisites to provide mental health care.  Coaches, are often not required to study or be registered and focus on personal and professional development.
